Recipe Book

Recipe Book
French toast, berries, and coffee, from mid-November

Hello again!

It's been a busy start to New England's Long Winter's Nap, with a fair share of traveling and cooking and working and drinking a lot of coffee, and as such, posting here has gone by the wayside for the past few weeks. I have several queued up for the next two weeks, and I'm hopefully going to share the link to this a little wider, so hopefully with that I will write more.

One thing I am going to start using this blog for is recipe writing. I spend a lot of time baking, a fair amount of time cooking, and I'd like to both build a straightforward spot for me to log recipes that I'll come back to, with notes, and to share that around.

I will probably not send these all out in newsletter form, but I will build a separate page with links to all of them so that they're easily accessible to me (and to you, if you want). Hopefully this can fix occasional writers block (because I'm not alwasy writing, but I am always cooking), and give me a decent index of recipes I've used and modified over the months.

It will also give me a place to share a decent backlog of food photography that I have sitting on my phone.

With that, here's Breakfast Potatoes:

Breakfast Potatoes
I love breakfast and I love potatoes. I’ve been hacking on this recipe for a long time, and I think it’s at a point where it’s useful enough to share to the world. Think of this a little more as a useful collection of notes rather than a rigorous guide

Enjoy! Stay well!
